checked out of Alberobello and arrived at Otranto

 

we spotted this beach swimming spot in the port and decided it would be a great place to stay for a few nigths

 

as again, the clarity, but this time, an actual non pebble beach

 

yes, we will be heading down there

fortress wall, we are staying inside the old quarter, behind the fortress walls

 

on the square with the Basilica

 

so we decided to sit outside our front door, like the locals do and have our afternoon drink on the plaza

 

then it's off to rooftop dinner next door ( first check up on the kids and everything ok back home )
