My Favourite Band T-shirt: A MARCS and ARIA collaboration. Meet Nicholas

Proud to announce my latest project; a collaboration with iconic Australian fashion brand MARCS and ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association). MARCS has launched 5 limited edition band t-shirts, all designed to support ARIA’s #UnitedByMusic campaign. Let’s support our home grown Aussie music!

Continuing with my MARCS and ARIA collaboration, I present to you Nicholas. A lover of Australian music, Nicholas is a student at the University of Sydney by day and a barman by night. He is rockin' out in The Birds Of Tokyo T-shirt by MARCS. _AUS7726MARCSSonnyphotos What was the last concert you attended? – Foals at the Enmore Theatre. They were mental. Such high energy. Yannis, the lead singer, managed to jump off a balcony and crowd surf for a good few minutes. Have you ever owned a band T-shirt? – I bought one from Big Day Out when I was sixteen. It lasted as my 'coolest shirt' for about a week, then quickly became the T-shirt I slept in. What makes a great band T-Shirt? – Simplicity. A T-shirt is something you want to be able to wear easily and effortlessly, multiple times. But it still needs to be a bit edgy and cool. _AUS7734MARCSSonnyphotos What do you prefer, a live band or a DJ? – DJ's are good fun, but nothing can beat the feeling and energy of a live band. Unless the DJ is playing their own stuff, like when I saw Disclosure at Listen Out. Brilliant. What is your all-time favourite band? – I have to be patriotic here and say The Jezabels. Their songs are so emotion-packed and musically brilliant. I love everything they’ve made.
