A music video is such a work of art and I’m sure we all have those memorable videos that we can still remember every frame of. I met up with Anil, a music video editor himself, for a quick chat. On my portraits he’s wearing the Birds of Tokyo T-shirt by MARCS. What was your first ever band T-shirt? – The classic Nirvana T-shirt, I think I still have it in a box somewhere in my parents house. Otherwise it just disappeared because of all the holes in it. I did wear it a lot… What do you prefer, live band or a DJ? – I prefer live bands, the last act I saw was M.I.A. in Newtown. I love live music, it’s a great way to meet great people. Such a shame that many live venues are going under. What’s your favourite ever album? – Grand Theft Audio by the Resin Dogs. What makes a good T-shirt? – Uniqueness of the design. I don’t like band T-shirts “screaming” the band name at you, I prefer more subtle designs with a story to them.   This project is a collaboration with iconic Australian fashion brand MARCS and ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association).
