After Par31 I had a meeting with Fashion Editor Sacha from Cosmopolitan ( she's taken over from Astrid who's moved onto Red ) After that, well, everytime I am in amsterdam I always try to meet up with Dan, but he's been so darn busy lately, being a dad and all, so we kept missing each other.
But this time Dan was actually in Amsterdam and not in New York, so met up for dinner at our fav little hang out Walem cafe on one of the Grachts. was good to catch up with Dan, he's doing a lot more design work these days ( Dan works for Tommy Hillfiger and booked me a few years back to shoot a campaing in South Africa for Tommy ) The new PULP came out so I gave him a copy.
Smoking stopped in France, and as you can tell from the girl in the background in Holland not yet, they had to delay it to work out some issues with the billion dollar cafe business, as Amsterdam is known for its cafe's where you can buy and smoke weed, so that is an issue. So how do you ban smoking in "normal " cafes and not the cafes with weed
