Great fashion designer from Sydney. I'm interviewing Akira for Pulp magazine , he's getting a call from Manami to confirm the address of a restaurant in Paris. It is one of his favourite restaurants in Paris , so he wanted to be sure of the address , and see-ing Manami is in town, she's a make up artist based in Paris, she would be the person to check. Now Akira has been in the business for over 10 years, and he has a very distinctive style to his designs, and as I found out today while interviewing him, he gets all his inspirations from the tradtional Kimonos.
