Thanks from all who sent me birthday wishes. I had planned to go surfing all day, yesterday, I went down to the beach to check it out, and the swell had picked up slightly, still messy from the wind, but I went for a late surf anyway, and it was a bit of fun, even though I was on a super old board as the day before I accidently broke of a fin, obviously from hitting a rock. So I figured my birthday could be a good surfing day coming up

Not to be, when I got down there in the morning it had totally disappeared ( the swell that is )
So there went my idea of being in the sun all day surfing

Instead I did some paperwork, had an appoinment with a financial broker, then went back down to the beach , hoping the low tide might have improved things, still not. instead I wandered around and took some photos from around the beach where I surf nearly everyday when I'm in Sydney

And this is super wide shot of the Whale beach, so you can just see the two headlands, I dropped in some text to show the surfing spot known as the Wedge, as the shape of headland, the rocks and the sand, when the swell rolls in at the right direction where it peaks before breaking there is a sort of wedge of water that pushes the wave forward, giving it that extra kick. Not today sadly
